What did the reviewers think?

Annika at Love Bytes gave it 5 out of 5 hearts:
I absolutely loved this book. I adored Gabriel and Phoenix, and I was there for every moment of this story. For the love, the pain and the rest of it. I felt it all. Anyone looking for a good cry and an angst short story, this is the book for you. And even if you are only looking for a story about that one great love, the love that spans and overcome any distance and obstacle this is the book you want.
Highly recommended!

Serena at Rainbow Book Reviews gave it 5 out of 5 stars:
Had I known how sad this story is, I might not have read it – and would have missed a beautiful tale of true love and an unusual message about hope. The ending is not unexpected, but the degree to which I felt it was the right one surprised me. If you are ready for a beautiful, sad yet hopeful read that might just make you cry, then you will probably like this short story despite – or because – of the message it carries.

VVivacious at Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars:
I remember having gotten through just the very first page of this story and being shocked at how invested I already was in these characters. This was a very engrossing story from its very first words.
