It Rained All Night – Cover, Pre-order Link, and a Countdown

I told you about my upcoming story, It Rained All Night, in my recent writing update, the story I wrote for JMS Books’ ‘rain or shine’ submission call…and as you probably can guess from the title, I picked rain. And now, I have a cover!

I really love the cover; it’s absolutely perfect for the story. I love the atmosphere, I love the model (he’s perfect for Mikko), I love the landscape, I love everything about it. Wanna see? Of course you want to see! 🙂

Isn’t it pretty? As a side note, I’m super impressed by the model who can do the tree pose so beautifully on a jagged cliff; I have the worst balance and have never managed a proper tree pose. But maybe that was more information than you needed 😀

Countdown

Before I post the blurb and the pre-order link, I want to tell you about something fun I’ve planned for two weeks leading up to the release on April 23: a countdown!

I’ve made a list of 14 rain-related songs, I’ve made 14 individual promo pics, and picked 14 short quotes, so from April 10, there’s going to be a post every day, with a song, a pic, and a quote, hopefully making you want to read It Rained All Night. And on release day, you’ll have a rain-themed playlist you can listen to when reading about Henrik and Mikko in the rain.

Doesn’t that sound like fun? 🙂

Can a chance meeting in the rain change someone’s life?

Meeting someone who can make him stop going is an eye-opener for Henrik. The man, Mikko, is his complete opposite, a steady rock in the wild rainstorm that is Henrik’s life, but the connection between them is both unexpected and instantaneous. Their encounter only lasts a few minutes, but before they part, they exchange phone numbers.

They live far away from each other, but soon they text and call daily, until Mikko is Henrik’s dearest friend and most trusted person. But a late-night question on the phone has Henrik re-evaluating his feelings. It’s impossible to love someone you’ve only met in person once…right?
