Writing update

I told you in Wednesday’s post that making a blog schedule was at the top of my to-do list so I could get back to regular blogging. I’m happy to report that the schedule’s made, and this is the first day of the shiny new fancy schedule, so yay for crossing that off my list! Isn’t crossing items off your to-do list the greatest feeling? 😁

I also hinted in the above linked blog post from Wednesday, that I have written several stories during summer, and that one of them was inspired to a visit to the ancient stone ship Ale’s Stones here in Skåne, Sweden where I live. The idea to incorporate this into my writing wasn’t mine to begin with, but came from my fellow JMS Books writer Thomas Grant Bruso. I posted pictures from the trip on Twitter and he asked if I planned on incorporating it in a story, and that gave me ideas. So I did.

The story is currently untitled and only has a temporary name: Petter and Isak meet at the ancient stones, but trust me when I say it won’t be called that when it’s released 😁 The release date is late December, since it’s a holiday story. But it’s actually not a Christmas story this year. Instead, I decided to write a story taking place on New Year’s Eve. To change things up a bit, you know?

I’m sending it to betas this week, and I’ll update you more when I’ve decided on the real name and have been forced to write a blurb and such.😁

Until then, I thought you might like to see a mood board?

Moodboard NYE story

Ignore the summer and sunshine on four of the pictures. NYE in Sweden is dark and wintery and cold, but funnily enough all the pictures I found was taken in summer, so this will have to do 🙂

      1. It was. Hubby’s mum watched the kids and we drove down on a motorcycle, having a picnic in the sun while watching the ocean, and the stones of course 😀
