For me, books always trumps sports, any kind of sports. If I haven’t told you, I don’t watch any sports. I don’t have a favorite team. Sports bore me to tears.
Books, on the other hand, do not 🙂
Which is why I’ll slink off and take advantage of the sale. Then I’m going to spend my Sunday with a cup of tea and a good book.

As usual, pre-orders are on sale, too. So this is the perfect time to buy Snowed In: Nen and Anani. Or my (very) short story that’s coming out in March, All I See. It’s just shy of 5000 words, but priced at ¢50 it’s still worth it, right?

And since I believe in spreading the love, here are a few favorites of mine I really recommend if you need something awesome to read today:
- Cultivating Love by Addison Albright. If you’ve hung around my blog for awhile, you know I’m a fan of Addison’s – and she’s a dear friend of mine. But this book has a special place in my heart and it gets my warmest recommendations. In fact, I might just have to re-read Ed and Joe’s story myself.
- Hero Worship by Kris T. Bethke. I read it on a bus trip from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and it was the greatest travel companion ever, even though it didn’t last me the entire trip. But that’s not because the book is too short, it’s because the trip is too long 🙂
- Promises by Ruby Moone. Not only because of the very hot cover model, but he sure does help!
- Revelry by K.L. Noone. Because “obscure ancient Roman holiday traditions.”
- Ghost Writer by David Connor & E.F. Mulder. Because – and I’m quoting my own tweet on the matter – “I mean, a man living in 2018 showing off his underwear collection to a gay ghost of a man who died in 1863, who’s communicating through an old diary. What’s not to love?”
- Motorcycle Man by Sarah Hadley Brook. Not only because it’s a fabulous book, but also because Sarah is a fabulous person who’s always supporting her fellow authors and deserves a lot of love back.
- Henry and Jim by J.M. Snyder. Because sometimes you need a good cry.
- September’s Always Gorgeous by Michael P. Thomas. Because Drew is a hilarious character and I love May/December stories.
I’m sure I’ve forgotten many, many great stories, but this is a good start. Happy shopping. And for any sports fan out there: may your favorite team win!
