A Cop For Christmas – Amazon US | Amazon UK

AFTER SAM’S GRANDFATHER nearly died in a blizzard one year ago, Sam has panic attacks in snow storms. So where does his friend Jackie propose they spend the holidays, as the last stop on their trip around the world?

Iceland. Of course.

But there’s more in Iceland than snow. When Arnar, a handsome Icelandic man, offers to escort Sam on a several-day tour of the beautiful countryside, they soon find themselves drawn to each other. But Arnar is firmly rooted in his native soil, and Sam has to return to the US in a week to care for his ailing grandfather.

Suddenly, yule can’t last nearly long enough.

NOTE: Though this novel includes characters from “A Cop for Christmas,” it is a standalone adventure. It isn’t necessary to read “A Cop for Christmas” first.

Author Bio

Jamie Fessenden is an author of gay fiction in many genres. Most involve romance, because he believes everyone deserves to find love, but after that anything goes: contemporary, science fiction, historical, paranormal, mystery, or whatever else strikes his fantasy.

Jamie Fessenden set out to be a writer in junior high school. He published a couple short pieces in his high school’s literary magazine and had another story place in the top 100 in a national contest, but it wasn’t until he met his partner, Erich, almost twenty years later, that he began writing again in earnest. With Erich alternately inspiring and goading him, Jamie wrote several screenplays and directed a few of them as micro-budget independent films. He then began writing novels and published his first novella in 2010. After nine years together, Jamie and Erich have married and purchased a house together in the wilds of Raymond, New Hampshire, where there are no street lights, turkeys and deer wander through their yard, and coyotes serenade them on a nightly basis.

Jamie recently left his “day job” as a tech support analyst to be a full-time writer.

Christmasvaganza: Special Guest Amy Tasukada

Today I welcome the last of my special guests for this December Christmasvaganza. Please help me give a big, warm welcome to my dear friend Amy Tasukada for the second time this week. But this time it’s for the holiday Q&A, and not to promote murderous Japanese mob guys 🙂 I hope you enjoy!

Oh, and please consider subscribing to her newsletter. If you’re a big fan of Aoi and Sato like I am, you’ll love getting a free short story about the adorable couple every month. Links are listed below.

Hi people!

I’m Amy Tasukada and my story The Year of the Money is featured in  Make the Yuletide Gay. The story is about Aoi, an erotic voice actor, and Sato, a super nerdy accountant. They’re so much fun to write and I hope you enjoy reading their New Years story.+

Which one of your characters would make the worst Santa and why?

~Aoi would make the worst Santa. He has a habit of slipping very explicit innuendos into conversations without realizing.  He blames the fact he has to read sex scripts all day. No Santa should be talking about stuffing stockings in that way.

Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

~Not so much resolutions but I set a list of goals I want to accomplish each year. For 2017 my goal was to release 6 books from December to December and with The Yakuza Path: One Thousand Cranes coming out December 15th I accomplished it!

Would you rather

  • give presents or get presents?
  • have a white Christmas or no snow?
  • have a full on celebration with family or curl up alone with a good book and a hot beverage?
  • have a real or a fake tree?
  • stay in your PJs or dress up?

~Who doesn’t like presents? I live in Texas so I’m so used to no snow and it can stay that way. I much rather be alone with a cup of tea and a good book. I always had real trees growing up. My cats loved them. If you hang out on my facebook or youtube channel then you know I dress up like no tomorrow, but if I’m not leaving my house I rather spend all day in my PJs

What is the worst gift you ever received and why?

~My mother once gave me an iron. I said I needed one, but handing a giftwrapped iron to my teenager self was not what I wanted.

It’s midnight New Year’s Eve – you can kiss any celebrity, living or dead. Who’s it going to be?

~This is where I turn worse than Sato in my super nerdy obsessions. I would kiss Aiji from 2005. Aiji from 2017 is no good. He’s one of the guitarist for the Japanese visual kei rock band Pierrot. They’re amazing… you could check them out… I’d recommend the music video Yuuyami Suicide…. Just don’t watch it at work. (Aiji looks really hot there too with his little feather boa and shirt that doesn’t cover quite cover his stomach…*sigh*)

~Anyway that’s all I have for you all before Nell comes it and realizes she never wants me to take over her blog because I suggest scandalous music videos from disbanded Japanese rock stars.
