Hello everyone, I’m back from Bangkok and ready to take on a new week of writing, and to get going with Camp NaNoWriMo! But first, what did I do last week?
I wrote my as-yet-untitled Christmas story, that I started plotting early in the morning last Friday if you remember? I wrote like a fiend and managed more than half of it last week! Admittedly, it’s not going to be very long: I aim for around 10-12K words. But still!
I’m really happy with it so far and I updated my NaNo plans to include the Christmas story because I wanna finish it and not put it on hold until May.
I still need to come up with a name for it. I hate calling it “Unnamed Christmas Story”. Ugh.
Yes, I’m old fashioned. I could track my writing it in an excel sheet, but I like paper and pen. And I’m in love with my green ink 🙂
Anyway. For NaNo I need to write 715 words a day, since my final goal is 20K. I decided to deduct the first two days when I calculated my daily goal, since I was away from my computer (stupid Bangkok!) and unable to write, which means 715 words a day instead of 666.
But I think I will concentrate more on the weekly goal instead. So this week I’m gonna write at least 5005 words. That should mean the Unnamed Christmas Story will get done.
So I better get going. But first: coffee
Welcome back! 🎉 💕
Your Christmas story sounds so sweet. I loved your Rainbow Snippet post featuring it. ❤️

Thank you! 🙂
And it is kind of sweet (I am the queen of sweetness after all), except for the scene I just wrote. It’s dirty and sticky and hot…if you know what I mean 😉

Lol, I just realized I wrote 2071 on my tracking note-thingy. Apparently I write from the future. Then I should know what’s gonna happen next 😀
